Working out of the Marksman Indoor Range and Gunshop as an independent business entity, we provide
the old fashioned, high quality gunsmithing services that can’t be found locally nowadays. The large regional and national
level shops cannot provide the individual professionalism and personal accountability that our owner-operated shop does.

We take pride in each completed job and stand unconditionally behind all work performed. No waiting on the phone to talk
to a nameless customer service representative. You get to deal with the gunsmith that works on your gun, face to face. You will
get an honest assessment of each job and an evaluation of what can and cannot be performed with your firearm. If the work
can’t be completed to the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship, we won’t take the job and give you a full
explanation why.
Summit Arms Services provides a broad range of general gunsmithing services, repairs, modifications, upgrades, restorations
and appraisals. We are a fully integrated shop that services all makes and models of handguns, rifles, shotguns and muzzle-loaders.
With the popularity of Cowboy Action Shooting on the rise we have expanded our services to include premium action jobs on
Colts, Colt clones, Rugers, side by side coach guns and all lever action rifles.
In addition, advanced services are offered such as setting a precise zero with your particular hunting rifle and load out
to 200 yards or chronographing the velocity of those loads so that specific trajectory charts can be created. Chronograph services
are also available in the shop for handgun and shotgun loads.
Costs for gunsmith services are based on $75 an hour shop time, plus parts. There is a minimum $35 fee for all shop work and
a minimum $20 charge for parts to cover expenses for ordering, shipping and handling. You can also ship your gun directly to us
for work using our shop FFL.
As an added service we offer personal tutorials for those who would like to learn how to correctly disassemble, clean,
lubricate and reassemble their firearms. Included with the tutorial are detailed printed instructions and illustrations for
the specific firearm involved.
So if the job involves a firearm and requires tools, Summit Arms Services is the place to bring it!
